I forgot to add a pin, how can I do that now?

When you are asked to fill out your survey, you will be able to add any extra pins to your order via the Backerkit store

How do I switch my tier or change add-ons?

On the desktop, head to the Campain tab and look for where the reward tiers are listed. You’ll see your reward there and if you hover over it, it will say “Manage Your Pledge”. Click that and choose your tier (either same one or the one you want to switch to) and then add or edit your add-ons, and click “Continue”.

On mobile, go to the “Rewards” tab, click your reward tier and go through the rest of the process like you’re pledging as usual.

If I get a pre-made set, can I switch out just one of the pins?

The pre-made sets “Celestial Dragons set of 3” and “Wood Pins set of 5” are locked into those exact pins and they can’t be changed.

What if I don't want all the backing cards?

No problem! I’ll be using Backerkit to gather all information about each pledge. There will be an option in the backerkit store for “Go Green”, where you can opt out of getting the backing cards. Instead, the pins will ship in the bags they come in from the manufacturer.

Where do I find a list of all the pins I can choose from, like past pins?

When you’re on the main campaign page, scroll all the way down near the bottom. There is a graphic that shows all 16 open edition pins you can choose from when you fill out the survey

Will I get another chance to add pins to my pledge once the Kickstarter is over?

Yes! If you pledge at all, once the Kickstarter is over you will get a survey to fill out. The survey will ask you to confirm whatever you originally chose to back in the Kickstarter and it will also ask if you wish to add any additional items, which will include extra pins.

I'm still not sure how much to pledge, can I message you??

Of course! I’ll be happy to confirm your pledge amount for you. Please allow up to 12 hours for me to respond (depending on where you are in the world).

Also remember that if you pledge short of what is needed, you will be asked to pay for the difference via Backerkit. Either way you will definitely be able to add whatever pins you want if for any reason you don’t pledge enough in the Kickstarter. You’re covered! =]

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
